Ingredients
- 1 cup Hathi Brand 100% Whole Wheat Chakki Atta
- ½ cup ghee
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- ¼ tsp. cardamom powder
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- 2 tbsp. chopped almonds or pistachios (optional).
Method
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the ghee and powdered sugar until creamy and fluffy.
- Sift the atta, baking powder, cardamom powder, and salt into the bowl.
- Mix the ingredients gently to form a soft dough. If the dough feels too dry, add a teaspoon of milk.
- Shape small balls from the dough and flatten them slightly. Place them on the baking tray and press some chopped nuts on top.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown.
